BIG THANKS to all that helped this fundraising effort. The raffle raised a nice $2,716 directly for the OVC Project. So collectively, about $3,000 with the sausage sizzle and generous cash & cans donations. I'd especially like to thank my parents, my brother and his wife, the Fuss Family, Alan, Travis & Nat, Monica, Dalton, Hayley & Scott for your exceptional contribution.

So this is the end of my fundraising effort as I now start to prepare for my trip there in May! Of course this is an on-going project that will continue to rely on donations so if you are able to support this project visit the official site www.mwandiovc.com. There is also a great child sponsorship program where you can support the child's education. This starts at only $85 a year, about $200 a year for the brand new High School that has just started, then about $400 for their college education. This is a great way to provide consistent support to an individual who through receiving an education, can one day make a difference to their life and the people of Mwandi.
